2018 Mamak Night

2018 Extraordinary General Meeting

MSSNI EGM 2018

was held at the Medical Biology Centre on 28 October. The MSSNI vice committee and Malaysian Night 2019 committee were elected on this day. Amendments to the constitution were made as well.

2018 Garage Sale

MSSNI held a garage sale on 30th September 2018 at the Malaysian Student Centre. It allowed students and even other Belfast residents to sell second-hand items to new students who just recently moved here. Books, clothes and even bicycles were on sale. All in all, it ensured that old valuables were not wasted, which is also important in our efforts to save Mother Earth.

Mamak Night 2017

During Mamak Night, a variety of brilliant local Malaysian food is sold in the Malaysian Student Centre which is located at 22, Adelaide Park (approximately 5 minutes walk from Queen's University of Belfast). This event was conducted for 2 days, starting from 6 pm on Friday, a short break for our staffs from 2 am - 6 am on Saturday and resumed from 6 am - 12 pm. On that day, the food was prepared by our "Master Chef" Ustaz Faiszal Abu Faiz and his friends and relatives.

The Mamak Night is not only the medicine to cure your craving for Malaysian Food by serving Nasi Lemak, Char Kuey Teow and Murtabak; it is also an event for you to socialise and make new friends instead of "enjoying" your solitary moment in your cave.
